How to use Convert PNG to PDF

  1. Add your PNG files; multiple selection is allowed.
  2. Reorder them with the ▲ and ▼ buttons in the file list.
  3. Pick a Page size and Orientation, and set the Margin (pt).
  4. Adjust Image quality if you want a smaller file, then click Create PDF.

What happens to PNG transparency and sharpness

Every image is drawn onto a canvas and embedded in the PDF as a JPEG. Transparent areas, common in logos and some screenshots, are filled with white during this step. Keeping Image quality at 90 or above preserves the crisp edges of text in screenshots; lower values make smaller files but soften fine lines.

Saving a sequence of payment confirmations, online form screenshots or slide exports as one PDF makes them easier to email, print or attach as proof of submission.

Limitations

  • Transparency is not kept; transparent pixels become white.
  • Because pages are stored as JPEG, the PNG's lossless quality is not preserved exactly.
  • On A4 or Letter, a very tall PNG such as a full-page website capture is shrunk to fit one page rather than split across several.

Frequently asked questions

Why is my PDF bigger than expected?

Screenshots at high resolution produce large pages. Lower the Image quality slider or choose A4 so images are scaled into a standard page.

Can I keep each page the exact size of the screenshot?

Yes. Choose Same as image under Page size.

Does this work offline?

Once the page and its scripts have loaded, the conversion runs locally without sending images anywhere.
