Rearrange PDF Pages
See every page as a thumbnail and drag them into the sequence you want. A Reverse order option flips the entire document when that is all you need.
✓ No upload · ✓ No sign-up · ✓ No watermark
How to use Rearrange PDF Pages
- Upload a single PDF and wait for the page previews to appear.
- Drag a thumbnail and drop it on the left or right half of another page to place it before or after.
- Alternatively, tick Reverse order instead to flip the current sequence.
- Click Save new order and download the -reordered.pdf file.
Reordering without re-rendering
Once you finish dragging, the tool reads the order of the thumbnails and copies pages from the original into a new PDF in that order using pdf-lib. Page content is copied as-is, so there is no loss of sharpness and selectable text stays selectable.
Reordering helps when a scanner fed pages back to front, when a merged set of documents needs the covering letter on top, or when you want answer sheets grouped by subject before printing. The reverse option is a quick fix for a stack scanned in the wrong direction.
Limitations
- On a computer, drag the thumbnails with the mouse; on phones and tablets use the ◀ ▶ buttons under each page, or press and hold a page and then drag it.
- Pages cannot be deleted or duplicated here; use Extract PDF Pages for that.
- Very long PDFs produce many thumbnails and can be slow to load.
Frequently asked questions
If I drag pages and also tick Reverse, what happens?
Your dragged order is used first and then reversed, so the last thumbnail becomes page 1.
Can I undo a drag?
Drag the page back, or click Clear and add the file again to start from the original order.
Does the reordered file get sent anywhere?
No. Thumbnails and the new PDF are produced on your device; there is no upload step.
