How to use SVG to PNG Converter
- Add one or more .svg files.
- No size control is offered; the SVG's declared width and height are used.
- Press Convert to PNG.
- Download each PNG or the full set as a ZIP.
How SVG becomes PNG
SVG describes shapes mathematically, so it scales to any size, but many tools such as word processors, some social platforms and older apps need a pixel image instead. This converter lets your browser render the SVG exactly as it would on a web page, then captures that rendering as a PNG. Areas with no fill stay transparent, which is ideal for logos and icons.
The output size comes from the SVG itself. If the file declares a width and height, those become the PNG's pixel dimensions; if it declares neither and the browser reports no size, the tool falls back to 1024 by 1024 pixels. To get a larger PNG, edit the SVG's width and height attributes before converting.
Limitations
- There is no scale or DPI option; output size follows the SVG's own dimensions.
- External images, linked stylesheets and web fonts referenced by the SVG may not load, so text can fall back to a system font.
- Scripts and interactive features in the SVG are ignored.
Frequently asked questions
How do I get a bigger PNG from my SVG?
Open the SVG in a text editor and raise the width and height attributes, keeping the same ratio, then convert again.
Is the background transparent?
Yes, unless the SVG itself draws a background. Empty space stays clear in the PNG.
Why does the text look different?
If the SVG relies on a font that is not embedded or installed, the browser substitutes another one. Convert text to paths in your design tool first.
Is my SVG uploaded?
No. Your own browser renders and exports it.
