How to use Meme Maker
- Upload the image you want to caption.
- Type the Top text and Bottom text; leave either box empty to skip it.
- Set Size (% of width) for the starting text size; 9% is the default.
- Check the preview and press Apply & Download.
How the meme text is laid out
Both lines are converted to capitals and drawn in Impact-style bold type with a black stroke, the format that made image macros recognisable. The tool measures each line and reduces the font size step by step until it fits within 95% of the image width, so a long punchline still stays on the picture.
Memes made this way are handy for class WhatsApp groups, light-hearted presentations or social posts. Use an image you have the rights to share, and keep the text short: two quick lines usually land better than one long sentence.
Limitations
- Each caption is a single line; very long text becomes small rather than wrapping onto two lines.
- Text colour and font are fixed to white Impact-style with a black outline.
- If Impact is not installed on your device, a similar bold font is used instead.

Can I make a meme with only bottom text?
Yes. Clear the Top text box and only the bottom line is drawn.
Why is my text so small?
The line was too long to fit at the chosen size, so it was shrunk. Shorten the wording or split it between top and bottom.
Is a watermark added to my meme?
No. The image contains only your picture and your two lines of text.
