Watermark Images

Stamp your name, brand or a copyright line onto photos before you share them. Choose a repeating diagonal pattern that is hard to crop out, or a discreet corner mark.

How to use Watermark Images

  1. Add one or more images to protect.
  2. Enter the Watermark text (the default is © My Brand) and set Size (% of width) and Colour.
  3. Adjust Opacity % between 5 and 100; around 25–40 is subtle but visible.
  4. Select a Layout: Tiled diagonal, Bottom right or Center, then press Apply & Download.

Choosing a watermark layout

Tiled diagonal repeats the text across the whole image at a 30° angle, so cropping a corner or edge cannot remove it. Bottom right places one small mark in the corner, which is less intrusive but easy to crop off. Center puts a single line in the middle for a clear proof-style stamp.

Teachers sharing worksheets, coaching centres posting notes, photographers sending previews and small sellers listing products all use watermarks to discourage reuse. Applying the same settings to a whole batch keeps a set of images consistent.

Limitations

  • Text only; you cannot upload a logo image as the watermark.
  • A determined person with editing software can still remove or paint over a watermark, especially a corner one.
  • The watermark is merged into the pixels, so keep your unmarked originals safely.

Frequently asked questions

Which layout is hardest to remove?

Tiled diagonal, because the text covers the whole image and cannot be cropped away.

Can I watermark many photos at once?

Yes. Add them all; each receives the same text, opacity and layout, and you can download them together as a ZIP.

Can I use the © symbol?

Yes, type or paste it into the text box along with your name or website.
