How to use the OMR Sheet Practice

  2. Press Start and mark one bubble per question. Tap a filled bubble again to clear it.
  3. Submit, then enter the answer key by tapping or by pasting letters such as ABCD.
  4. See your score and a colour-coded sheet. Use Print blank OMR sheet to practise on paper.

Marking used by the presets

PresetQuestionsCorrectWrong
SSC CGL/CHSL Tier-I100+2−0.50
SSC GD Constable80+2−0.25
SSC MTS Session-II50+3−1
UPSC Prelims GS Paper I100+2−2/3 (about 0.67)
UPSC CSAT80+2.5−5/6 (about 0.83)

UPSC deducts one-third of the marks of a question for each wrong answer. Example: in a 100-question GS paper, 60 right and 24 wrong gives 120 − 24 × 2/3 = 120 − 16 = 104. A question with no key letter is treated as dropped and left out of the total.

Limitations

  • This is a practice sheet for printed or on-screen mock tests; it does not include questions.
  • Real OMR sheets are read by a scanner, so in the exam a half-filled or double-marked bubble can be rejected. Here a tap fills the bubble completely.
  • Your sheet is saved in this browser until you start a new one.

Paste the key as a string of letters, one per question, such as ABDCA... Use a dash for a dropped question.
